5 Magazine’s free house events at Smart Bar continue with a St. Patrick’s Day celebration featuring Jeff Craven, label boss at Chicago’s own Large Music. From deep and jazzy to energetic and tech-influenced, Craven’s DJ style runs the gamut while maintaining an obvious allegiance to sound of Chicago house music. Aaron Dae joins Craven and brings his soul-influenced, funky house production to the dance floor. 5 Magazine mainstay, Rees Urban, rounds out the lineup, making for a funk-laden, budget-friendly St. Pat’s evening that will require your dancing shoes.
