The Chicago Chamber Musicians open their twentieth-anniversary season with a festive “Schubertiad” or party-like gathering to perform the music of Franz Schubert, which in this case replicates CCM’s first-ever subscription concert that included the “Trout” Piano Quintet, D. 667 and the Octet, D. 803, two of the Viennese master’s most beloved and iconic works as well as the ensemble’s favorite works to play together. Each of CCM’s twentieth-anniversary concerts will be dedicated to a different founding member of the ensemble, this special season-opener dedicatee being pianist Deborah Sobol. (Dennis Polkow)
