The last of Music of the Baroque’s Mozart at 250 concert celebrations features chamber music that includes the “Gran oartita” serenade for 13 winds (K. 361) and the Sinfonia concertante for Mozart’s own instrument of the viola alongside of his father’s instrument of the violin (K. 364). This is also longtime concertmaster Elliott Golub’s final appearance with the group, who will perform the Divertimento, K. 136. Conductor Jane Glover has a unique flair and affinity for Mozart’s music and often offers oral tidbits that formed the basis of her superb book, “Mozart’s Women,” that was released earlier in the anniversary year.
