Kill Memory Crash has been cranking out its sinister style of industrial electro for a while now. Getting its start in its hometown of Detroit at the peak of the U.S. rave scene, KMC cultivated a strong following with its cold, menacing songs layered with bleak, desperate lyrics that were influenced largely by its surroundings. Now, based in Chicago, KMC has been releasing tracks for Ghostly International, which is also home to Matthew Dear and Solvent, and pummeling audiences everywhere with its raw performances on a regular basis. Tonight, however, the boys from Kill Memory Crash take a break from the stage, and instead will be behind the decks as part of Ramp Chicago’s new Thursday night residency in the basement of the Debonair Social Club. Joining them will be fellow Detroit electro industrialist, label-owner and headliner, Derek Michael, and Ramp Chicago’s own Liz Revision, all of which will be spinning harsh electronic sounds all night long.
