Preview: Bootlegged: Drumcell, Frankie Vega

  Soul Foundation’s Bootlegged Fridays at Moonshine, a long-running night known for showcasing some of the best local house DJs in the city, will feature a special headlining set from techno artist and Droid Recordings label founder Drumcell. This L.A. producer/DJ can be seen performing all over the U.S. when he’s not busy throwing sweaty underground parties in L.A. with the members of Acid Circus. The event will not only provide the perfect place to enjoy pre- and post-Lollapalooza beats and beverages, but will also serve as the official after-party for Drumcell’s Traktor Scratch demonstration at the MacSpecialist store, taking place from 6:30pm-8:00pm that evening. Drumcell joins a stacked lineup of both house and techno DJs for this unique showcase. Bootlegged residents Brian G, Brenda D and Jevon Jackson will perform alongside MacSpecialists Frankie Vega and Dustin Templeton, as well as No Affiliation’s Jesse Lee, Sevron, Phillip Stone and Klectik’s Jason Patrick.
